Consistency With Tracking Money

Consistency With Tracking Money

Is there a list of things you’ve wanted to do but haven’t done yet? I know that feeling all too well! It takes commitment and effectively planning to get those things done. It’s the same with money & how you manage it. If you don’t commit to reviewing your finances on a regular basis, it will not get done.

I'll share the process that works for me and hopefully this is something you'll be able to incorporate as well!

At the beginning of each month, I plan out what I have going on - events, meetings, travel plans, and of course - what day and time I’ll be able to review my spend for the previous month. By committing to a day and time that I know I’ll be able to dedicate an hour prevents me from making excuses of not doing it.

Give yourself a reward or punishment (whichever works best for you) for actually getting it done then too!

And when you have your goals top of mind, it will give you that extra push to make sure you are working towards it.

Also remember, we all have bad months. But acknowledge it and know that you will still reach your goals, but it may take a little more focus for the next few months.

Send me a message if you will commit to being consistent with managing your money!
